The Verbum Museum, also known as the Casa das Palabras (House of Words), is one of Vigo’s most distinctive cultural landmarks. Designed by the renowned Galician architect César Portela, the building offers over 5,000 m² of built space set within a 13,000 m² site.

Verbum is an interactive museum dedicated to human communication in all its forms. Through hands-on exhibits and multimedia experiences, visitors can explore languages, words, letters, sounds, signs and the many ways people communicate.

The museum also organises a wide range of interactive educational activities for schools, associations, families and other groups.
